I’m Ben Salus, an actor & artist originally from Philadelphia.
I graduated from Boston University with my BFA in Theatre Arts. I also have a diploma in Classical Acting from LAMDA.
My artistic credits, interests, and influences run the gamut of genre & style including Film/TV, new work, musicals, Shakespeare, and more. I write, direct, and teach as well.
In my parallel career I work as both as an Executive & Producer’s Assistant for Andrew Sorkin and I work as a Coordinator for Billion Oyster Project (501c3). I’ve also worked with children all over New York City - from the Arts, to Sports, Tutoring/Mentoring, even as a live-in nanny/manny.
Currently, I live in West Harlem and am playing Macbeth in Drunk Shakespeare Off-Broadway. In my spare time I cook cross-cultural dishes, argue about Philadelphia sports, and Citibike everywhere I can (helmet: on).
